Services - Steering (Toolface)

Toolface Is an angular measurement of the orientation of the bottom hole assembly (BHA) versus the top of the hole (gravity tool face) or magnetic north (magnetic tool face).

Reference for tool face is usually the "scribe mark" or " hi-side" of the mud motor, beginning at 0° and continuing through 360°, clockwise from the "scribe mark" or for magnetic tool face clockwise from the reference north bearing.
